I was a math teacher in public schools for 7 years. After over a decade in education, I felt like I had stagnated and the job didn't change much from year to year. It was time to make a change and pursue a new career.
The transition started with completing a bootcamp in full stack web development, but that was not where I learned to code. My earliest code was written on TI-83 calculators, in interactive Flash animations, and for shooters in GameMaker, and then for my high school and college courses.
I spent many years writing code for fun! For two years I've focused on growing my skill set with professional tools in order to make coding my career.
In my free time, I like to play video games and learning about tools used in game development and emulation. I love retro games from the fourth and fifth generations!
